What I Learned: Week 26

  1. When it’s sunny in Galicia, it’s beautiful.
  2. There’s a type of sponge that is called the “naranja del mar” which literally means ocean orange because it looks vaguely like an orange.
  3. Some fish markets sell live fish.
  4. Many worms/worm-like beach animals will come out of their holes if you put a lot of salt at the top.
  5. Many beaches in Galicia have granite pebbles or rocks on them.
  6. Running a half-marathon is fun!
  7. Having friends come watch as cheerleaders makes a race much better.
